Anita Dunn is an American political strategist who was born on 8 January, 1958. She was raised by her parents Carol Hutto Babbitt and Albert E. Babbitt in Bethesda, Maryland.
Anita, one of the state’s leading communications and political strategists. She is the founder and managing director of strategic communications firm based in Washington, D.C. known as SKDK. Dun has decades of knowledge in managing and captivating political and advocacy campaigns along with involvement in advising our nation’s leaders at the highest levels of government.
She has years of experience in the White house as well. In 2019 she was labeled as one Washingtonian’s most powerful women, having been the only person who has obliged as a senior advisor of the successful campaigns for two winning presidents. Throughout her career she has served in plentiful senior roles for other crucial Democrats, which includes Evan Bayh, Tom Daschle, and Bill Bradley.
Anita is married to Robert Bauer, who was President Obama’s personal lawyer and a former counsel to his campaign. Bauer is a top attorney for the Democratic National Committee, quite accomplished one, if we may add attorney. They have four children, two daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, and three grandchildren.
Dunn resides in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband Robert and enjoys spending time with their children and grandchildren. In 2008, Newsweek magazine described Bauer and Dunn as Washington’s new “power couple”. Furthermore, the couple also own a house in Chevy Chase, Maryland (MD).
