Robert Bauer, Anita Dunn’s husband

Anita Dunn’s husband, Robert Bauer is an American lawyer mostly recognized for serving as a white house counsel for Barack Obama. Born on 22 February 1952 he is from New York belonging to a Jewish family and is of white ethnicity.

For education Robert graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1970, after a few years in 1973 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College. Later in 1976 he achieved his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Bauer is the chairman of Political Law Group at the Washington law firm of Perkins Coie LLP. He is considered as an incredible and tenacious attorney with proficiency in election law and the convergence of law and politics especially in Democratic circles.

 Adding to his experience with the DNC and his responsibility as general counsel to Obama’s presidential campaign, Robert has also been counsel to the Democrats’ national Senate and House campaign committees.

He was also chief outside counsel to former Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle throughout the impeachment trial of President Clinton and counsel to New Jersey Sen. Bill Bradley’s presidential campaign in 2000. Bauer is also the Professor of the Practice and Distinguished Scholar and teaches at NYU School of Law.

Robert and his wife Anita Dunn are on their 6os and have already become grandparents. They have three grandchildren. Although Bauer is on Facebook, he doesn’t appear to have any other social media account such as Twitter and Instagram.
